Quick answers to the questions members ask most. Tap a question to expand it.

What is the IT Employees Association?

ITEA is the professional body representing information-technology employees working under the Federation of Aerospace Engineers and Robotics Innovations (FAERI). We focus on representation, skill development and member welfare.

Who is eligible to become a member?

IT professionals, technical and support staff within FAERI institutions, as well as students and partner organisations. In line with FAERI’s inclusive philosophy, there are no restrictive age or qualification barriers. Admission is subject to committee approval.

How much does membership cost?

Fees vary by category — for example, Student, Individual, Lifetime and Corporate. Indicative fees are listed on the Membership page. Please confirm the current schedule when you apply.

How do I join?

Complete the form on the Join Now page. Our membership committee will verify your details and confirm your membership once the applicable fee is paid.

What benefits do members receive?

Professional representation, free and subsidised training, welfare and mutual-aid schemes, networking across the FAERI ecosystem, recognition and priority updates. See the Membership page for details.

Is the training really free for members?

Most training is free or heavily subsidised for members, reflecting FAERI’s free training movement. New certification tracks are announced on the News & Announcements page.

How can I access welfare support?

Members can apply to the Member Welfare Committee through the contact page. Requests are handled confidentially and reviewed promptly.

How is the association governed?

ITEA is run by an Executive Committee elected by the general body, supported by standing sub-committees. See the Governance & Leadership page.
